Why Convert Word to PDF?
Word documents (.docx) are editable, which is great during creation but problematic when sharing. Here's why PDF is better for distribution:

What to Check in the Preview and Export
- Text formatting —Inspect bold, italic, underline, sizes and colors. Missing fonts may be substituted; the final page is an image.
- Headings —Check their visible hierarchy. Image-based export does not preserve document heading tags or PDF accessibility structure.
- Tables —Check borders, widths, wrapping and page transitions. Complex tables can render differently; exported cells are not editable table objects.
- Lists —Verify bullets, numbering and indents in the preview, particularly after page breaks.
- Page layout —Compare margins, breaks and orientation with the source. Text boxes, floating shapes or unavailable fonts can alter the browser's layout.

FAQ
Does it support .doc files?
Currently, the tool supports .docx format (the modern Word format). If you have an older .doc file, you can open it in any word processor and re-save as .docx first.
Are images in my Word document preserved?
Browser-supported embedded images can appear in the preview and output. Pages are captured and encoded as JPEG images inside the PDF, so this is not original-image preservation and may introduce rasterization or compression changes.
Can I convert multiple Word files at once?
The tool handles one document at a time for the most accurate conversion. Simply convert each file separately.
Is there a file size limit?
Input is limited to 20 MiB per DOCX. The current page limit is 25 on constrained/mobile devices and 60 on other devices, with additional package-expansion, pixel and output-size guards. A small compressed DOCX can still exceed a decoded-memory limit.
