By accessing and using ToolKnit (toolknit.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

ToolKnit provides browser-based tools for processing PDF files, images, videos, text, and time utilities. All file processing is performed locally in your browser — no files are uploaded to our servers.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Usage Limits

Guest users: 5 free uses per day for premium tools (PDF, image conversion, video compression).

Registered users: 100 free uses per day for premium tools.

Free tools: Character Counter, Stopwatch, Countdown Timer, and Image Grid Split are always free with no usage limits.

Usage limits reset daily at midnight.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits through automated means
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

6. Intellectual Property

The ToolKnit name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. You retain all rights to the files you process using our tools.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ToolKnit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolKnit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
