UI workflows and API node graphs are different. Download the original saved JSON; no nodes, scripts or links are executed.

Content Credentials

Credential verification: up to 25 MiB. This release has no reviewed local issuer trust list, so it cannot confirm trusted issuer identity.

A valid credential is evidence of recorded provenance, not a guarantee that a scene is real. An AI ingredient does not mean every part of an image was AI-generated.

More than a single prompt

Supported ComfyUI node records stay grouped. Different samplers, models or outputs are not flattened into one invented recipe.

Claims are not verification

A Software field saying OpenAI is not authenticated provenance. Signature, file binding and issuer trust have separate states.

Local, read-only processing

No account, API key or file upload. Public page components may load over the network; file-provided external URLs are not fetched automatically.

Keep the original, understand what each field means, and check the limits before reusing or sharing its metadata.

AUTOMATIC1111 commonly saves PNG parameters and JPEG/WebP EXIF UserComment. Not every generator or export setting writes these fields.
A workflow can reference custom nodes and model files you do not have. Exporting JSON does not guarantee the image can be reproduced.
Keep an untouched original. Editing, compression and format conversion can alter or remove generation information and credentials.
Nothing found? That is a valid answer. Try the original file; do not treat absent metadata as proof that the image is not AI-generated.

FAQ

A little more clarity

Can this tell whether any image was made by AI?

No. This viewer reads information saved inside the file, not visual clues or an AI probability score. Missing metadata does not mean an image was not AI-generated.

Can I extract a ComfyUI workflow from a PNG?

Yes, when the original PNG contains a supported workflow or prompt graph. UI workflows and API node graphs are identified and exported separately. Missing nodes, custom nodes and external model files may prevent reproducing the image.

Does this read Stable Diffusion prompts?

It reads supported saved parameters, including AUTOMATIC1111 PNG parameters and JPEG or WebP EXIF UserComment data. It cannot recover a prompt that was never saved or has been removed.

Can it confirm that a picture came from ChatGPT?

Only suitable source evidence can support that conclusion. A text field saying OpenAI is an unverified declaration. Credential signature, file binding and issuer trust are separate checks; incomplete checks are shown as incomplete, not verified.

Why does my image have no generation information?

The generator may not have saved it, or screenshots, sharing services and editing or conversion software may have removed it. Try the original downloaded image. No metadata is a valid result, not proof of a non-AI image.

Are my images or prompts uploaded?

No. File parsing takes place in your browser. Images, filenames, prompts and workflows are not uploaded or saved by this tool. Loading the website and public components can use the network; file-provided external credential URLs are not fetched automatically.

Which files can I inspect?

Select one PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 50 MiB. Actual format is checked from file contents. Some metadata variants may not be supported, and resource limits protect your browser from oversized or malformed metadata.
