What chat formats are supported?

WeChat export (TXT/HTML/CSV), QQ export (TXT/CSV), WhatsApp export (TXT), Telegram export (JSON), Douyin screenshots (PNG/JPG via OCR), and any plain text chat log. You can also paste chat content directly.

How do I get a DeepSeek API key?

Visit platform.deepseek.com, sign up, and create an API key. The key is stored only in your browser's localStorage and never sent to ToolKnit servers.

Can I create more than one persona?

No. Each browser can only hold one persona at a time. This is by design — to encourage meaningful engagement rather than collection. If you want to start over, use the /let-go command to delete everything.

What does /let-go do?

It permanently deletes your persona, all memories, chat history, and stored data. This action cannot be undone. It's named "let-go" because sometimes the healthiest thing is to move on.
