ONE IMAGE. A CONTINUOUS STORY.
Split one image into 2–20 connected slides. Keep the original pixels or fit a chosen ratio, preview the seams, then download numbered PNG or JPEG files. Free, with no signup or image uploads.
Drop one image here, or choose it from your device.
JPG · PNG · static WebP · up to 20 MiB. Animated files, GIF, SVG and HEIC are not supported.
Splitting and export run in this browser. Website resources and normal analytics may use the network; your image, file name and pixels are not sent by this tool.
Lines show output boundaries. In ratio mode the preview shows the fitted canvas, including cropping or padding.
THE WORKFLOW
Start with one finished composition. This tool cuts your image; it does not invent missing parts or post to social platforms.
Use a wide panorama, a design exported from Canva, or a long screenshot. Try the clearly labelled original sample before choosing your own file.
Pick 2, 3, 4 or up to 20 slides. Original pixels keeps the entire image; ratio mode fits the whole composition before slicing. Inspect both the overview and swipe preview.
Prepare PNG or JPEG files, then save the ZIP or individual images. Unzip first and select 01, 02, 03… when creating your post.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE
A fixed ratio changes the shape of the combined canvas. See exactly what is cropped, padded or enlarged before you export.
A 2160 × 1350 image split into two becomes two 1080 × 1350 images. A 1080 × 1920 image split into two becomes two 540 × 1920 images. The source determines the ratio.
For three 4:5 slides at 1080 px wide, the combined canvas is 3240 × 1350. Fill crops to that shape; Contain adds padding. Each slide uses the same transform to keep the composition connected.
Use PNG for transparency, text and graphics. JPEG flattens transparent areas onto white or black and re-encodes photos at your selected quality.
BEFORE YOU POST
The local preview helps you check the cut, but a social app can still crop, compress or add gaps. Check its final posting preview.
Keep small text and faces away from cut lines. Let background shapes or landscape details cross the seam instead.
Do not crop each slide separately after export. A different crop or order can break the connection.
For top-to-bottom reading, use vertical splitting. For a profile mosaic, use the separate 3×3 Image Grid Split tool.
Choose an image, set Left → right and select 2 or 3 slides. Original pixels keeps every source pixel without resizing. Prepare downloads, then save the numbered PNG or JPEG files.
It creates ordered image slides that you can use in an Instagram carousel or another multi-image post. It does not connect to your account or publish anything. Check the app’s current ratio, crop and upload limits before posting.
Original pixels mode does not resize or crop the decoded image. PNG avoids a new lossy encoding step, but browser decoding, color conversion and metadata removal mean the files are not byte-identical originals. JPEG export is lossy; ratio mode may also resize or crop.
Original pixels mode divides the full width or height using integer boundaries. When it does not divide evenly, slice sizes differ by at most one pixel. For identical dimensions, choose ratio mode or prepare a source whose split dimension divides evenly.
Use Original pixels to keep the entire image without scaling, or choose Fit a slide ratio and Contain to keep the composition with padding. Fill crops outside edges to match the combined canvas. The summary shows the crop percentage before export.
At 1080 pixels wide per slide, prepare a 3240 × 1350 source for three horizontal 4:5 slides. For two slides use 2160 × 1350; for four use 4320 × 1350. These are geometry examples, not a guarantee of every platform’s current specifications.
Yes. Select Top → bottom to divide a long image into ordered sections. The preview stacks them vertically. Such sections do not create the same spatially continuous effect when a social app swipes horizontally.
Yes, when exporting PNG with Transparent selected. White or Black fills transparent source areas and any padding. JPEG cannot store transparency, so its output uses the selected solid background.
Image validation, previews and export run locally in your browser. This tool accepts one JPG, PNG or static WebP up to 20 MiB; animations, GIF, SVG and HEIC are not supported. Device-specific pixel and output guards are shown in the workspace. Normal page resources and analytics may use the network.
Check the numbered order, apply the same ratio to every slide and avoid separate crops. Platform compression, gaps or display rounding can change the appearance even when local slice boundaries match. Test the posting preview; this tool does not simulate each social app.
